| Allow me to
introduce myself, my name is Martin and I'm married with
four children. Since leaving school 24 years ago, I
have been involved with the transport industry. My
experience ranges from milk floats to achieving my Class
One; driving one of the biggest vehicles on the
road. Having enjoyed every minute on the open road,
it has inspired me to become a driving instructor so as
to offer the same pleasure and freedom to others. The car that all my pupils work with is the Seat Ibiza 1.4, 16v. Sports. It has proved very popular with pupils, present and past; it has a large windscreen with good all round views of the road and the surrounding area, which gives extra confidence and control. It has height adjustable seats, so no matter how short you are, you can see most of the bonnet, an asset for confidence building and safety.
Since starting my business in 2004, I have had several first time passes, with my percentage approximately 77%. I specialise with nervous drivers "so don't allow this to put you off learning" as the more nervous you are the better drivers you become.
